DRG - Inpatient Coder / Full Time
All aspects of Coding including CPT for Commercial, Medicaid, Champus & Medicare. Review Medicare charts to ensure compliance with medical necessity. Collect, analyze, assign, & sequence all codes for diseases, operations, & complications for each patient.
Experience and or Education Desired:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate
Previously related training and experience
Qualified RN or CCS Certification
Basic computer skills and knowledge of grouper system. Ability to communicate with Medical Staff. Working knowledge of DRG System. Other duties as needed.
