Electronic Record Improves Provider Access for Patients
Jan. 25, 2017 The Dale Medical Center Health System currently manages and operates 5 primary care practices specializing in family and internal medicine. "The utilization of an Electronic Medical Record improves service and accessibility for our patients," said Vernon Johnson, CEO. "Our patient's records are available at any of our clinics within the DMC system, making it easier to be seen by a local provider whenever needed." So, if you are unable be seen by your practitioner, your records are available as an established patient at South Union Family Medical or STATMED Family Medical guaranteeing that you can see a provider when needed without having to complete new patient paperwork.
Primary Clinics within the DMC Health System include: Wiregrass Family Medicine (Dr. Scott Hammock), Dr. Oliver Crawford, Ozark Family Medicine (Dr. Connie Chandler), and STATMED Family Medicine on Andrews and South Union. Both of our STATMED clinics serve as primary care and walk-in urgent care clinics.
STATMED Family Medical has been serving the community since 1998 and is staffed by two providers with a professional staff to meet your healthcare need. Providing pediatric and family practice medicine, DOT physicals, sports physicals, weight loss and urgent care for non-life threatening conditions or injuries.
STATMED Family Medicine on South is our newest urgent care and family medicine clinic within the DMC Health System. Staffed with 3 providers and professional support staff they are able to meet all your healthcare needs to include: family medicine, pediatrics, the management of chronic conditions, aviation physicals, sports physicals, and urgent care needs for non-life threatening conditions and injuries.
Patients are encouraged that if they find themselves needing to be seen and are unable to be seen by their provider or if the wait time is long in one of our 2 Urgent Care Clinics, call the other and you may be able to be seen more expeditiously.
